Zellah M. Mitchell, 93, of 438 Sherman Street, Galion, died Thursday, December 11, 2003 at Village Care Center in Galion.

Born June 2, 1910 in Morrow County, she was the daughter of the late Webster “Webb” Stall and Delilah Rule Stall. March 1, 1930 she married Leonard F. Mitchell, who preceded her April 7, 1965

She worked for the former Ohio Overcoat, Stratbury Manufacturing and then Caleb V. Smith Co. where she was a seamstress. She retired in 1975.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Albert Miller, of Galion; two grandchildren, Scott D. Miller, of Oceanside, Calif. and Janice K. Jensen, of Bothell, Wash.; a great grandchild, Royce Miller and a sister, Luella Cass, of Mt. Gilead, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Barbara Holmes and Joyce Mitchell, an infant son, Robert Mitchell, five brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2003 at Richardson-Davis Funeral Home where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, December 15, with Rev. James Randas officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
