Wendy Leeann Zimmer, 46, of Galion, passed away unexpectedly on her 46th birthday Thursday, January 16, 2014 at home.

She was born January 16, 1968 in Mansfield and was the daughter of Franklin Hoskinson and Carol (Stuff) Cady of Galion. She married Kenneth Zimmer on September 30, 2005 and he survives.

Wendy attended Galion High School and was a lifetime member of VFW Post 4329, AMVETS Post 1979 and a member of Trackside 30. She worked as a bartender at Galion AMVETS.

In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas Tyler and Brittany Williams of Pennsylvania, Zackery Miracle of Bucyrus and Dale Miracle Jr. of Bellefontaine; two grandchildren, Christopher and Kaylin Williams; two sisters, Michelle (Robert) Powell of Galion, Toni (Joe) Poth of Mansfield; brother-in-law Ron (Peaches) Zimmer of Pennsylvania; two sisters-in-law, Sharon (Dave) Musgrave of Arizona and Laura Zimmer of Marengo and mother-in-law Evelyn Burton of Marengo.

She was preceded in death by her father Franklin Hoskinson, nephew Christopher Williams and grandparents Jacob and Thelma Williams.

The Zimmer family will receive friends Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Snyder Funeral Home Richardson Davis Chapel in Galion. A memorial service will be held Friday, January 24 at 5 p.m. at VFW Post 4329, 229 South Market Street, Galion
