Vyvyan Elizabeth Overly, age 92, of Fredericktown passed away on Tuesday evening, March 24, 2015 at Knox Community Hospital with her family at her bedside. She was born on July 13, 1922 in Utica, daughter of the late Cless and Marie (Wilson) Bell.

Vyvyan was a member of the Batemantown United Methodist Church, the Middlebury Grange and was past secretary of the Wally Byan Airstream Club in Marion.

Vyvyan is survived by her husband, Neil Overly whom she married on January 8, 1942; sons Larry (Lynne) Overly of Fredericktown, Cless (Linda) Overly of Cumming, GA and James (Darlene) Overly of Utica; and 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Vyvyan was preceded in death by her brother, James Bell.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 and from 9 a.m. until the time of her funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 East College St., Fredericktown. Pastor David Spaulding will be officiating.
