Virginia L. Weaver

Virginia L. “Ginny” Weaver, 75, of 518 N. Union Street, Galion, a woman of Faith in Jesus Christ, died Monday, March 20, 2006, at home after a 1 1/2 year illness.
Born January 19, 1931, in Tiffin, she was the daughter of the late John Reif and Hazel Iona McCoy Reif. She married William H. Weaver, Sr. on September 17, 1948, and he survives.
She was a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School in Tiffin. She was a homemaker and full-time mother.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Leah Weaver and Rex Landis of Ostrander, Virginia L. and James Ditmars of Caledonia; two sons and daughters-in-law, William H. Jr. and Jeanne Weaver of Fredericksburg, Va., John and Terri Weaver of Canton; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Janet and Harold Oakleaf of Fremont, Dorothy and Ronnie Wolfe of Fremont; two half brothers and spouses, Gary and Martha Thompson of Tiffin and Roger and Dianna Thompson of Stratham, N.H.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Fairview Cemetery with Pastor Andy Grimes officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery.
