Vida Dove Nauman, 87, of North Lewisburg passed away Monday evening June 17, 2013 at the Delaware Court Health Care Center.

She was born August 3, 1925 in Oldtown, Maryland to Samuel and Fannie (Silvius) House.

She worked for 40 years at Ranco Controls in Delaware serving in various capacities. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and was especially known for her “Million Dollar Fudge”.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Patricia Nauman of North Lewisburg and Linda (Eric) Falken of Freeland, Washington; 3 brothers, Thomas (Dee) House of Las Cruces, New Mexico, George (Connie) Bucklew of Linthium, Maryland, and Tim (Teresa) Bucklew of Marion; 3 sisters, Lilly (Clifford) Lester of Marion, Irene House of McConnelsville, and Ruth (John) Crabbe of Marysville; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Nauman in 1969, 4 brothers Doug Silvius, John and Samuel House, and William Bucklew and twin sisters just this past year, Marie Ross and Rose Stover.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday June 21st at 11:00 am at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William Street at Valleyside Drive, Delaware where the family will receive friends one prior to the services. The family will then host a reception in the Snyder-Rodman Community Room. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family encourages contributions be made in Vida’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 471 East Broad Street, Columbus, OH 43214.
