Tony R. Autrey

August 27, 1965 ‒ July 20, 2019

Ostrander, Ohio

Tony Ramon Autrey, age 53 of Ostrander, OH died tragically and suddenly on Saturday, July 20, 2019. He was born on August 27, 1965 in Massillon, OH.

Tony was a very beloved and dedicated husband of almost 31 years. Tony and his dear wife Holli were married on September 24, 1988. Tony was most pleasantly surprised at the age of 46 to become a very proud father for the first time to his precious Mila whom he truly adored and loved deeply.

Tony was a car and motorcycle enthusiast and was quite passionate about music…especially jazz. He was also quite the fitness guru. He was incredibly industrious and efficient, always getting things done. He greatly enjoyed the outdoors and loved doing yard work and riding his bicycle on beautiful days.

Tony had a dream for years to work at Honda when he moved to Delaware, OH in 1987 and finally became an associate November 27, 1997. Tony and Holli enjoyed living in Japan for a year just two years after starting his career with Honda. He was a staff engineer working on new models as a project manager.

Tony’s main priority, however, that guided his every day life was his faith in his God, Jehovah. Tony became a dedicated and baptized Jehovah’s Witness November 28, 1987. He regularly shared in the ministry, volunteering his time most every Saturday to talk to others about the Bible. He served as a dedicated elder in the Delaware West Congregation and will be sorely missed by so many loving spiritual brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish Tony’s memory are his wife of almost 31 years, Holli Autrey; daughter, Mila Autrey; father, Arvie R. (Barb) Autrey; brothers, Arvie R. Autrey III, Jules L. Autrey and Christopher (Jeanetta) Autrey; sister, Shelisa (Shaddrick) Stinson; step-sister, Burma Autrey; beloved sister-in-law, Rozelyn Parsons and mother-in-law, Janice Woods; and many, many friends.

Tony was preceded in death by his beloved mother Vennia (Adams) Autrey, grandparents Arvie (Chick) Autrey, Ethel Autrey and Van Adams, uncles Butch, Keith and Michael.

A memorial service for Tony will take place Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3201 Baker Rd., Delaware, OH 43015.
