  • I’ve only known Tonie since December. I remember when I went to the Laurels,I was so afraid of what my roommate would be like. I walked in the room and there was Tonie and I called my daughter and said I have the greatest roommate ever. We had an instant connection and were a like in many ways. In such a short time we became very close friends we laughed and cried together and were there for each other. The last time I saw her was on June 10 she was in good spirits laughing and I told her to get better so we could go to lunch and start getting together. I told her I loved her and she said she loved me too. I’m so happy I got to see her and let her know what she meant to me. I love you Tonie and will miss you very much thanks for being my friend. Tim I’m so sorry for your loss.

  • So sorry to hear of Tonie’s passing, but I know she is in the presence of the Almighty God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Tonie was also so sweet, positive, fun, and funny! We had such great times “back in the day” at the Baptist Church in Columbus. She was an inspiration to all. I praise the Lord that she is now walking the streets of gold, bowing before her Master, seeing all of her loved ones already there. I pray God’s peace on all of her loved ones.

  • Heaven is a better place because of a new resident. Tonie endured so much on earth. May the family rest in knowing she is now well.
