We became close in school and drifted away from each other as we raised our children and mapped out our lives. But no matter where we crossed each other’s paths we were like the same high school girls again. She was my cut school buddy. May you rest in the arms of the angels, and may God’s shine perpetual light upon you my friend. All our love to all. Donny and Saundy Smothers

  • I met Terry years ago. She taught me how to create pretty beaded earrings. Mine never did look as good as the ones she crafted! I was devastated to hear of her illness, and eventually her passing. The one consolation is, she got to enjoy the country life for a while, with her garden and chickens and cows. I will remember her always. Peace and love to her family ❤️

  • Bob, I’ve thought of you and Terry often since our last time being at COHA while Steve was also being treated, and I am so very sorry for your loss. In our brief time visiting, she was a kind and thoughtful and talked lovingly about her family. My deepest sympathy to you and Terry’s loved ones.

  • I only knew Terry through buying her eggs. I enjoyed talking with her and was very saddened to learn she was ill. Whenever I asked how she was her answer always was that she was doing well. Sending my condolences to her family and know she will be missed.

  • What an amazing lady! My heart is broken for all of us, but especially for those closest to Terry. My family and I will never forget her mostly quiet and always unshakable strength as well as the fact that she never grew out of being an onery little kid. She has made us all want to be better, stronger, more forgiving and more fun. I, for one, always knew that everything, absolutely everything was better when Terry was a part of it.
Here’s to Terry! And all of us lucky enough to have known and loved her.
    God bless.
