Stacy L. Leibold, age 34 of Lewis Center passed away unexpectedly Friday, February 11, 2011 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. In her untimely passing she gave the gift of life to another through organ donation.
She was born on July 18, 1976 in South Charleston, WV to Elizabeth (Lilly) Keck of Lewis Center and James Jarrett of St. Albans, WV. Originally from West Virginia, she had been a resident of Lewis Center for the past 6 years. She had worked as a waitress with Texas Steak House. On July 17, 2009 she married Wesley Leibold. Her husband is a truck driver, she often rode along by his side, traveling coast to coast throughout the United States. She dearly loved him and their travels together. She photographed their journeys together and Oregon became her favorite destination.
With an open personality, she was most descriptive in her storytelling of adventures. She was one who could always make you laugh. She loved the color purple, butterflies, and the music artist’s of the 1980’s, especially Prince and Michael Jackson. A fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and MMA Cage Fighting, she treasured all people.
In addition to her husband and parents she is also survived by sons: Christopher Jarrett of Worthington, Justin Thompson of Huntington, WV, sister April (Ben) Estep of Westerville, brother John Jarrett (Fiancée Danita Mauldin) of Westerville, she was the proud Aunt of Jacob, Zander, Harmony, and Colt whom she often baby sat for. Other survivors include parents in law: Cindy Leibold (Daniel Nobbe) of Russell Point, Steve Leibold of Magnetic Springs, grandparents in law: Betty Hickman of Delaware, Ruth Leibold of Richwood, brother in law Lance (Amanda) Leibold, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Friends may call 3-7 p.m. Thursday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St., Delaware, where services will follow Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry McCallister officiating.
