Sherry Keenan 58 of Delaware passed away unexpectedly Tuesday September 12, 2017 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born August 1, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio the daughter of the late James & Marie (Chapman) Hickey.

Sherry was a self-employed day care provider, and was a lifelong member of Grace Baptist Church in Delaware, where she was a part of Lady’s of Grace & Reformers Unanimous group.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters Rebecca Cooper, Jennifer Hilliard, and Tabatha Chapman; grandchildren Gary McCray, Justin Stapleton, Skyler Cooper, Tanner Cooper, Jaxson Hilliard, J’mason Goldsmith, and Andrew Hilliard; brother Robert “Beaver” Chapman; numerous cousins including Mark & Patty Wilburn.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon of 34 years in March 2016, her parents, and sister Patricia Lynn Chapman.

Sherry enjoyed watching sports, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes Football, Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. One of her greatest memories was traveling to Houston Texas to watch the Cincinnati Reds win the World Series. Sherry’s family will miss her loving, and fun nature, you could always count on her for a good spirit, and a great sense of humor.

Friends and family may call Friday September 15th from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Snyder- Rodman Funeral Center 101 Valleyside Drive ( formerly 1510 W William), Delaware, Ohio 43015. Graveside services will take place 2:00 p.m. at Marlborough Cemetery.

    So sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. I knew all of you when you were younger and attended Gethsemane Baptist Church. You used to come to my house and George would cut your dad’s hair. See you have grown up and probably have families of your own. Just wanted to share a memory with you. God bless you always.
