  • I would like to say how very sorry I am for your families loss. My prayers are going out to the family.

  • Herb, so shocked and saddened by Sharron’s passing. I remember her as a feisty life loving lady, always willing to go above & beyond. My heart goes out to you.

    • In December, we found out that she had ovarian cancer. She swelled up in 3 days time. We thought she was on the road to recovery but the good Lord needed another angel to sing in His choir.

  • Herb….
    Deepest sympathy..

Sharon was such a compassionate, caring and professional lady…… I always enjoyed my interactions with her…..

She had a charisma about her not matter how she felt and she projected this to those around her…

She made very positive contributions to WQTT and to all the community organizations that she touched…..

    She will be sorely missed…..

    God Bless,

  • Dear Herb & family,

We were so sorry to hear of Sharron’s passing. I have fond memories of singing
with you both in the GB choir. Sharron had such a lovely voice and sang so
expressively. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  • Herb – I’m so sorry to hear of Sharron’s passing. She was (and is) a beautiful person. It was a privilege to be your and her pastor and choir director – she was so kind to me. I still wear the OSU jacket she got me at a garage sale and I remember the birthday party she organized at choir. She sang beautifully, she was encouraging, she was helpful and led though her example as well as her words. She was s “model church member” and clearly loved the Lord.

I’ve missed you all and glad we will have eternity to worship our savior together. What a wonderful woman you had the privilege of being married to.

See you soon Herb. Praying for you during this difficult time of transition.

  • Herb, I’m sorry to hear of your wife’s passing. You have my sincere sympathy.
May God give you His love and comfort in the days ahead.

There have been a lot of changes since you left Elmwood. But our
memories of the good times will always be remembered.

Blessings to you and the family.
