Sharon Ann Van Brimmer 70, of Delaware passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, October 11, 2018 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

She was born September 18, 1948, in Willard, Ohio, the daughter of Paul & Helen (Boehm) Barnes.

Sharon graduated from Buckeye Valley High School, and later worked for Ranco as an inspector for 20 years and Honda Manufacturing for 20 years as an associate. She was a member and attended regularly the Radnor United Church of Christ in Radnor, Ohio.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Larry Van Brimmer; sons Adam (Ann) and Kevin (Sarah) Van Brimmer; grandchildren Abby, Nathaniel, Logan, Jacob, and Connor Van Brimmer; mother Helen Barnes; and sister Betty Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Barnes, and brother, Herbert Barnes, in 2016.

Sharon found happiness in gardening, socializing with friends, and especially in spoiling her grandchildren. She will be missed as the loving wife, mother, and grandmother that she was.

Pastor Dan Bill will officiate a funeral service 3 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 West William St.) Delaware, Ohio 43015. Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. A dinner to celebrate her life will follow at Radnor UCC, 4407 SR 203, Radnor, Ohio. Burial will take place at 10 a.m., Monday, October 15, 2018 at Radnor Cemetery, in Radnor, Ohio.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed towards Radnor United Church of Christ, 4407 SR 203, Radnor, Ohio 43066.
