  • My sweet niece, so kind, caring and loving to all those you knew.
You were so much like your Grandma Phillips, seeing the best in others, no matter how they were to you. Your love for horses was just like your paw paw Phillips.
Your love for your nieces showed in all you did for them. Your special love you had for all the babies born into the family, you made them like your own. You gave of yourself beyond measure.
Your uncle Bud will never forget you. You always took time for him and with him, sharing your love of country music with him.
You suffered so much in your short life from illnesses to emotional scars of losing those you dearly loved that went on before you. You have battled many things in your life but maintained that upbeat smile.
I’m truly gonna miss how you called out my name whenever you saw me. I was so happy when you shared that moment with me, when you gave your life to God. Now I know my prayers will be answered for all the rest of your cousins, nieces and nephews to follow your example of faith in God . God spoke to you and led you from your fears and fear of death to a living hope that will forever be in your loving mothers heart.
You and your mom was the perfect example of love between a mother and her daughter. She is going to miss you so much. But, I’m sure God will give her comfort and understanding in time. Your brother Gary loves and will miss the times he joked with you, his way of showing love to his little sis.
Your memory and love will live on in all those who knew you best. You made memorable impressions on all those who knew you, from teachers to bosses and co-workers.
Shanna, you lived, you loved, you forgave, you were born again. And now, your spirit is with God, We all will be united someday and live eternally in a place called Heaven, never more to die. You have won the race in this life and came out victorious, a life eternally. I hope all our loved ones will also want to be with God for eternity and live their lives according to God’s will and not their own and win this same victory.
Shanna, I will miss your sweet spirit but I have hope I will see your again. I sense the peace that you are in right now and give God all the glory.
You left us too soon according to all of us. But you are right on time in God’s eyes. In time we all will celebrate your life. But for now, we must take time to grieve losing you so soon.
Until we meet on Heaven’s shore. we all will miss you terribly. I love you Shanna,
Your aunt Pat. P.S. our secret revealed.( Your mom’s gonna be O.K. )
Shanna, I feel so blessed to have been part of your life

  • My deepest sympathy and prayers to all of Shanna’s family. I volunteer with Shanna at the Voice of Hope in Marion. I truly enjoyed the short time I knew her. So very kind and loving. Also had a connection with her because she went to Ridgedale. May you find peace that only God can give.
