Roy Hall, age 73 of Centerburg, passed away Wednesday morning May 10, 2006 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

He was born in Banner KY. on December 4, 1932 to the late Oliver and Goldie (Curtis) Hall. He has lived in Centerburg since 1959 coming from Sunbury and a member of the True Bible Church in Marengo. Roy was a caring and loving person and a wonderful Husband, Dad and Grandpa. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. Roy had worked for 35 years at the Galena Brick and Shale Co. as a foreman and then at Kelsy-Hayes in Mt. Vernon as an assembler, retiring in 1994.

He is survived by his loving Wife of 54 years Betty (Howard) Hall and they were married October 11, 1951 in Galena; Son: Bobby (Jennifer) Hall of Reynoldsburg and Daughter: Malinda (Ken) Clustsam of Pickerington, 7 Grandchildren: Misty, Joshua, Danny, Travis, Nikki, Natalie and Adam. 10 Great Grandchildren. Brothers: Otto (Carole) Hall of Mt. Vernon, Sisters: Faye Boggs of Mt. Vernon, Jean (Ted) Goodman of Centerburg, Patsy (James) Wilson of Willard. Brother-in-law: William Smith of Norwalk and Sister-in-law: Shirley Hall of Centerburg.

In addition to his parents he was proceded in death by a Grandson, Kevin, Sisters: Margaret and Margie, Brother: J. P., Brother-in-law: Elmer Boggs.

Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at SR 61, Sunbury where services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. with Pastor JR Smith and Frank Kirk officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
