Rose B. Schroeder

Rose B. Schroeder, 84, of 5554 Harding Highway East, Caledonia, died unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004 at Galion Community Hospital.
Born Jan. 23, 1920 in Riga, Mich., she was the daughter of the late Martin Dvorsky and Agnes Vyjcek Dvorsky. She was preceded in death on September 1997 by her husband, Edgar Schroeder whom she married on May 27, 1939.
She graduated from Blissfield, Mich. High School. She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Ottawa Lake, Mich. She lived in Tavares, Fla. for 20 years and then moved to Marion in 2001 to be close to her family. She had a love for life and was a shuffleboard enthusiast. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and playing cards. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Florida.
Surviving are her two daughters and sons-in-law, Louva and David Lake of Green Valley, Ariz. and Sally and Bill King of Caledonia; a son and daughter-in-law, Clifford and Sheryl Schroeder of Cardington, four grandchildren, Michael, Sheri, Martin and Billie; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Bessie Hughes of Toledo and a brother, Stanley Dvorsky of Blissfield, Mich.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Koester and Lillian Stasa and a brother, Frank Dvorsky.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
