Robert N. Lower, age 80 of Delaware, died unexpectedly Friday evening December 23, 2005 at the Grady Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

He was born in Salem on May 1, 1925 to the late Floyd and Hazel (Newman) Lower. Robert was a retired Claims Supervisor for Transamerica Insurance and a WWII Army veteran. Member of the Moose Lodge in Worthington and the American Legion (Columbiana Post). He had resided in Lisbon, Columbiana and had lived in Delaware for the past 16 years.

He is survived by Daughters; Susan (Robert) Glover of Centerville, VA, Rebecca (Jack) Brickner of Delaware, and Kathy (Burt) Lowe of Richmond, VA.; Son; Jim (Cathy) Lower of Columbus, Grandchildren; Jason, Janna, Vickie, John, Emily, Becca, Matthew, Mark, and Thomas. Sister: Ruth Sedor of Salem.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by his Wife: Mary D. Lower on April 19, 2004; Sister: Helen Eileen Marguart; Brother: Harold Lower.

Friends may call Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 75 W. William St. (SR36), Delaware. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in the Lisbon Cemetery Chapel with Pastor Betsy Schenk officiating.
