Robert H. “Bob” Hudson, 79 of Iberia passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born April 11, 1936 in Jackson, Kentucky and was the son of Robert G. and Golda (Combs) Hudson. Bob is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary E. (Griffith) Hudson who he married on April 11, 1971.

Bob was a warehouse manager for the Marion Industrial Center and was a member of Pheasants Forever and the Crawford County Coon Hunters. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time outside.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his children David (Lula) Hudson of Lexington, Kentucky, Teresa (Anthony) Lockard of Georgetown, Kentucky, Shirley (Stanley) Arrowood of Jackson, Kentucky, Jim (Dawn) Hudson of Englewood, Colorado and Rob (Melissa) Hudson of Edison; 20 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister Rosa Pettus of Monroe, Ohio and a brother Doug Hudson of Jackson, Kentucky.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son Jeff Hudson; granddaughter Faith Parker and three sisters, Mary Jane Dunn, Stella Robinson and Lois Prater.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes, 218 South Market St., Galion, Ohio 44833 where services will be held at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Stephan Bloomfield officiating. Burial will be in Iberia Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Morrow County Hospice in care of the funeral home.

  • I’m so sad for bob and his family. bob was my boss and my friend for 25 yrs. he was a realy nice guy I mean realy nice .we love ya bob and we are gonna miss you.

  • Despite the t-shirts, jeans, fishing poles and hunting gear, Robert Hudson was one CLASSY guy. He loved his wife, kids, and grandkids. His heart was gold. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
