Richard “Ed” Fellure

BELLVILLE:  Richard “Ed” Fellure, age 63 of Bellville passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital.

He was born February 26, 1951 in Mount Union, West Virginia to Marion and Juanita (Putney) Fellure and was graduated from Clear Fork High School in 1969 and has remained a lifelong area resident.

Ed worked as a carpenter in construction, along with J&B Classical Glass and Mirror, and Brad Alley Builders. More recently, he was retired from Wal-Mart.

“Very outdoorsy,” Ed enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing, but mostly fishing!  He liked to travel a bit, often to a location for more fishing.

Friendly and outgoing, Ed never met a stranger.  He had a carefree way and truly enjoyed life.  He adored spending time with this family and friends, and was a giving man.

He is survived by his children and their spouses Tracy and Mike Nesselrotte of Perry, Sarah and Jeramy Cupp of Cincinnati, and Amy Force and her fiancé Kris Corrington of Hamilton; seven grandchildren Jacob and Jordan Nesselrotte, Peyton and Gavin Cupp, Jacob Force and Johnathan Richard and Gabriel Corrington.  Also surviving is his mother Juanita Knapp-Fellure of Bellville, siblings Nora and Craig Shumaker, Rob and Justine Fellure, and Jeannie and Todd Long  all of Bellville, and Jan and David McIntyre of Columbus; a sister-in-law Robin Fellure of Columbus, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother Timothy Fellure.

The Fellure family will host a gathering of family and friends, Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 5-8 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home.  Private interment will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Snyder Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
