Quintin A. Castle, 88, of Ashley, OH passed away late Sunday afternoon February 5, 2017 at his residence.

He was born March 20, 1928 in Estill, Kentucky to the late Sterling and Fanny (Daniels) Castle and later proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force stationed in Korea and Okinawa, Japan.

Quintin worked 19 years for the Flxible Corporation in Delaware and was a 32nd degree mason in the Delaware Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his granddaughters.

Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Letha (Doug) Hall of Ashley; granddaughters, JoLynn and Jenny Marie Hall; brothers, Bill Castle of Florida and Harrison Castle of Indiana; sisters, Bonnie of Florida and Joyce of Indiana; brother-in-law, Rick (Nancy) VanHoose of Olathe, Kansas; sisters-in-law, Nancy VanHoose and Ida Franklin of Ashley; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Quintin was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years Ruella, an infant son Quintin, many brothers and sisters and 2 brothers-in-law Ronnie and Gary VanHoose.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at 1:00 pm at the Bennett-Brown-Rodman & Snyder Funeral Home, 307 E. High Street, Ashley, OH. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the services. Burial will follow in Ashley Union Cemetery with military honors provided at the gravesite by the Delaware County Veterans Association.
