Phyllis J. Beachy, 66, of 216 N. Liberty Street, Galion, died Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Galion Community Hospital, after a short illness.

Born September 3, 1938 in Akron, she was the daughter of the late Phillip Donizetti and Nicoletta Tussi Donizetti. She married Donald L. Beachy on April 29, 1992 who survives.

She was a graduate of Buchtel High School in Akron and a Lifetime member of AMVETS Post 1979 Auxiliary and member of V.F.W. Post #4329 Auxiliary both in Galion. She retired from the Department of the State Highway Patrol where she worked in the License Examination Department.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Dan and Tracy Beachy of Dayton; two daughters and a son-in-law: Denise and Buddy Huebner of Toledo, Dianna Beachy of Galion; two stepsons and spouses: Fredie and Amy Beachy of Galion, Richard and Lisa Beachy of Chatfield and a stepdaughter and spouse, Tammy and Mike Smith of Galion; 16 grandchildren; four sisters,
Alveria Geho of Columbus, Mary Kaberic of Akron, Eleanor Hill of Akron and Rita Donizetti of Akron.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
