Peggy A. “Peg” Buckingham, age 76 of Delaware an Angel of God, was called home Thursday, September 29, 2016 while surrounded by her family at Kobacker House.
She was born May 29, 1940 in Ostrander to the late Candom O. and Mildred (Phelps) Snyder. Peg married George Buckingham on November 22, 1968 and together they shared almost 48 wonderful years raising a family, making a home, and operating several businesses together. For a brief time she also worked at Ranco.
A woman of deep and abiding faith, she attended Grace United Methodist Church, now New Beginnings Church and the church where she was married. Gifted with a green thumb, she enjoyed gardening and flowers of all types. Peg and George created a garden oasis around their homestead. Faithful in every way, she touched the heart of many and made it a point to enjoy every moment, especially those when surrounded by her family and friends.
