BUTLER:  Patricia Ruth Ranshaw left this life to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, October 17, 2017. She was 85.

She was born November 24, 1931 in Butler to parents Frank & Ruth (Hoover) Ward. Patricia was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and loved her family and her husband. She cherished family get-togethers, baking desserts, flowers, and traveling. She especially enjoyed traveling in the West and Alaska.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years Donald Ranshaw; her children Brad (Christina) Ranshaw, Brenda (Terry) Miller, Tammy (Tim) Smith and Monay (Tom) Markey; grandchildren Tonya (Ben) Miller, Brian (Danielle) Ranshaw, Troy (Kristi) Miller, Tara Nixon, Ciera Markey, Ariel Markey, Trace (Morgan) Smith, Wesley Dingus and William (Annette) Dingus; great-grandchildren Justin (Erica) Miller, Joshua Miller, Collin (Ali) Chalut, Garrett Ranshaw, Serena Nixon and Andrea Wimer.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her brothers Wendle and Edwin; and her sisters Wava Thompson and Bonnie Utt.

Although no public service will be held in Patricia’s memory, her family hopes that you will hold her in your heart as you remember her in your own special way.
