She is survived by her son Melvin Gantz, Sr. of Bellville; grandchildren Melvin Jr. & Andrea Gantz of Mt. Vernon, Karissa & Luther Fowler III of Danville, VA, and Lonnie Farrell of Mt. Vernon; step-grandchildren Eddy, Denise, and Jack; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; daughter-in-law Jean Gantz of Garland, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

In addition to her loving husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Vern Cameron, Fred Cameron, Hilda Stitzel, and Charles Cameron, Jr.

A visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Friday, August 12, 2016 in the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home and the funeral procession to Shauck Cemetery will leave at 4 p.m. for a graveside funeral service officiated by Pastor Michael Bloomfield.
