Michelle “Shellie” Davis, age 31, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on Monday, July 23rd, 2018, after a long battle of cancer.

Shellie was born on October 23, 1986 in Marion, Ohio growing up in Morrow County. A loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and granddaughter. Shellie truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: playing with her two sons and chatting with her family.

Shellie was survived by her sons, Trenton and Jace and their father, Anthony Davis; stepdaughter, Haley Davis; mother, Susan (Tone) Tucker (John); father, Homer Ray Bartram II (Dawn); brothers: Homer Ray Bartram III (Valerie), Andrew Bartram (Shelby), Wyatt Bartram, and Aaron Bartram; sisters: Paige Bartram (Jordan) and Abigail Tucker (Landon); grandparents: Jack and Linda Tone and Gladys Bartram; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Preceded in death by grandfather Homer Ray Bartram and uncle Dallas Bartram.

The family will greet friends on Friday July 27th, 2018, from 3-5 pm, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel. (67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead, OH 43338). A funeral service will follow at 5 pm her cousin Roc Ashley officiating.

In lieu of flowers, a donation will be collected to start a trust fund for Shellie’s two boys: Trenton and Jace.

  • To Shellie’s Family my heart is breaking for you, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I went to Tri-Rivers with Shellie in high school. We was always so sweet and we always had so much in our lab. I will miss her.

  • I am truly saddened by this news. Shellie ALWAYS had a sweet smile whenever she visited the office, while in high school and when she stopped in to pick up family members. She was extremely kind and soft spoken. A beautiful soul that will be missed dearly!

She was so strong during her struggle with her illness, she made an impact on me as I watched her through her battle. Always staying upbeat and always caring a smile no matter what. Although our time was short here on earth it didn’t take long to fall in love with this inspiring young lady!
