Michael Burdett Ross, 56, of Ostrander passed away Tuesday morning, January 9, 2018 at his residence.

He was born July 18, 1961 in Delaware to Carl F. Ross and Barbara (Burroughs) Ross. After graduating high school, he attended The Ohio State University. After working for GTE and ChemLawn, Michael started Ross Property Management and Paradise Property Management in 1985.

He attended First Presbyterian Church in Delaware and he enjoyed all sports, especially softball and bowling, winning many trophies and also receiving a 300 ring for bowling. He also enjoyed attending the Little Brown Jug. As an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan, he was actually late for his own wedding watching a game.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Barbara Ross of Delaware; sisters, Cheryl Ross of Columbus and Carla Ross of Santa Monica, California; former wife, Valerie Mendenhall of Ostrander; numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Although Michael never had any children of his own, he is also survived by his feline fur baby Stinky.

Michael was preceded in death by his father.

Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 73 W. Winter Street, Delaware with Rev. Deborah Patterson officiating. A luncheon will follow where the family will receive friends.

The Snyder Rodman Funeral Center is assisting the family.
