I Loved getting to spend time with him talking over everything, listening to his stories and how he would tease me every time I said “eh”. We are all going to miss him.

I can’t possibly do justice to what he meant to so many, but please know that our prayers are with you all at what has to be an incredibly difficult time.

As tears stream down my face I can only offer you my and Jerry’s love for you all in this difficult time. A friend of mine shared this passage from Isaiah 57:1-2, which brings me some comfort, and hope it will you, too.
“1. The righteous perish, and no one takes it to heart; the devout are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.
    2. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.”

  • Dear Welch Family,

Our sincere condolences, thoughts and prayers to your entire family. We are so sorry to hear of Mike’s passing. He will be dearly missed. We have such fond memories of our time with Mike.

    All our best,

  • To our Sister in Christ…. Amy and family,
Shocked to hear the news about Mike. As believers we know this is not our world. It is not our home……we await the time to reunite with our loved ones.

Knowing Mike and remembering the last conversation I had with him was as always joyful and refreshing as I felt close to him and most importantly our Savior. Mike the gentle giant with a heart that only God can give and make had a gift to just make you smile and feel loved.

Thank you Jesus for placing brothers in our lives like Mike, who lived his life to Glorify your name and set an example for us all !!!! You are only missed here on earth for we know to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!

    In Christ, The Weber Family

  • Amy & Family,
It was so nice to reconnect with you all through our time together with the Lady Knights and Delaware Hayes Soccer. Mike was a good friend on the sideline as we enjoyed and celebrated our girls. He was a faithful Dad and a kind man.

It was a privilege to participate in today’s celebration of life. My prayers will be with you through the coming days and weeks. This life will pass quickly though there will be days that seem longer than others…

    In Christ’s Abiding Love,
