Michael Alan Lifer passed away after a more than 2-month battle with COVID Pneumonia Sunday morning, January 3, 2021, in Hanover Health Care Center. He was 64.

He was born March 8, 1956, in Millersburg, Ohio to parents Richard & Shirley (Middleton) Lifer. Michael attended Loudonville Highschool and was a lifelong resident of the Loudonville area.

Michael took pleasure in music, singing, and socializing with other residents at the Hanover House. He also loved to go swimming at Long Lake during family get-togethers every summer.

He is survived by his stepmother Anita Lifer; stepfather Jim Morris; his siblings Brent Lifer and Leslie (Bryan Fliger) Christine; and many cousins and extended family members.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Richard Lifer and his mother Shirley Morris.

A graveside service will be held in Michael’s memory on September 10, 2021, at 1 p.m. in Loudonville Cemetery.

  • So sorry for your loss. I went to school with Mike and I remember him being very nice and he always had a smile.

  • I work at the Good Shepherd and had the pleasure of hanging out with Mike, we had alot of good times, I will forever remember his big smile, funny ways and his love for the 70’s & 80’s rock music. Mike was so much fun to be around, I have missed him since he left us and will continue to miss him. Blessings to his family. You meant everything to Mike.
