Melinda Ann (Slone) Landrum

Melinda Ann (Slone) Landrum, age 27, of Marion, Ohio passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021. Melinda was born to Flora Combs and Jasper Slone in Knott County, Kentucky.
Her favorite pastimes included: listening to music, taking pictures, and making arts and crafts. She really enjoyed making money. “We’re still open!” She also enjoyed spending time with her family. Her greatest achievements in life were obtaining a driver’s license, getting her G.E.D and becoming pregnant. She was a very out spoken person with a very loud personality, if she liked you, she liked you.
Melinda is survived by her parents, Flora Combs and Jasper Slone; step father, Kevin Smale; brother, Jasper C.A. Slone; two sisters: Brittney and Sierra Slone; three grandparents: Floyd and Dorothy Combs, Martha Gibson; six aunts; four uncles; numerous cousins, nephews, great uncle and aunts; and husband, Kyle Landrum.
She was preceded in death by her uncle, Corey Smith, aunt, Peggy Blevins, uncle, Billy Combs and grandpa, Rudolph Slone.
Melinda’s service will be at Lighthouse of Prayer, 788 N. Main St., Marion, on May 1, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Denver Combs officiating. The family will greet friends there from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
