Mary E. Lepley, age 93, of Mount Vernon passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Knox Community Hospital.

She was born on August 22, 1922 in Knox County to the late Russell and Hattie (Allam) Rinehart. Mary enjoyed playing euchre and fishing. But most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by two sons, Stanley (Anna Marie) Lepley of Mount Vernon, Steven (Bernie) Lepley of Loudonville; two daughters, Nancy Wittner of Texas, Diana (Patrick) Dowalter of Mount Vernon; nine grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law DoraLee Rinehart.

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Lowell Lepley; her son Ronald Lepley; three brothers, Russell, Dwight and Earl Rinehart; three sisters, Charline Potes, Alice Gleeson and Wilma Woodland; her son-in-law Bill Wittner and two great-grandchildren, Steven Eli Lepley and Ayla Monet Dunham.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 1-2PM at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home (619 E. High St., Mount Vernon). A service will follow beginning at 2PM with Pastor Susan Stevens officiating. Burial will take place in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Gambier.
