BELLVILLE: Marvin Dale Fulton, 88, passed away Wednesday September 9, 2009 in Hospice House in Ashland.
Marvin was born on October 4, 1920 in Ankneytown to Gaylord and Elizabeth (Hivley) Fulton and graduated from Fredericktown High School in 1938.
He retired from Westinghouse after working nearly 40 years.
A life member of Owl Creek Church of the Brethren, Marvin was a former deacon, treasurer, and served on the church board. Marvin was a devoted family man.
He is survived by his wife Lois (Arnold) Fulton of Bellville; son Rick Fulton of Lexington; grandchildren Tom (Sandra) Armstrong, Mike (Marti) Armstrong, Jenny and (Rick) Kvochick, Jacob Fulton; son-in-law Ronald Armstrong; several great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Marvin was preceded in death by his daughter Sandra Jean Armstrong, sisters Pearl VanHounten, Grace Kinney and brother Clyde Fulton.
The Fulton Family will receive friends on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 5-7pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10-11am in Owl Creek Church of the Brethren where the funeral will begin at 11am. Pastor Charles Barnhill will officiate. Burial will follow in Owl Creek Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to Hospice of North Central Ohio may be made at the funeral home.
