Marilyn June Sergent passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, in OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital. She was 78.

She was born June 27, 1939, to parents Avery & Margurite (Darr) Roberts in Mansfield. June went on to work at Mansfield Engineered Components, where she worked for over 30 years until retiring.

An avid seamstress, June loved to make clothing for goose lawn ornaments and was always on the hunt for new fabric at garage sales and rummage sales. She also enjoyed sending cards to everyone for any occasion she saw necessary, like birthdays, thank you’s, anniversary’s, and to church members where she attended, Zion’s Refuge Baptist Church near Lucas.

She is survived by daughter-in-law Deanna Livingston; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 2 nieces; a nephew; and 4 great nieces, and numerous cousins and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Paul Livingston; sons Randy Roberts and David Livingston; siblings Betty and Butch; and nephew Bart.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service in June’s memory on Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 3 p.m. in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home with an hour prior of calling. Pastor David Parsons will officiate.

Contributions in June’s memory to Bellville-Jefferson Township Fire and Rescue may be made at the funeral home.
