Lois Maxine Huff, age 92, of Fredericktown passed away on Friday evening, September 11, 2015 at Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon. She was born on July 24, 1923 in Mansfield to the late Hugh and Mary (Shaffer) McLarnan.

Lois was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown and was former member of the Ann Hill Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star in Fredericktown.

She is survived by her devoted sons, James (Marva) Huff of Mansfield and Gordon “Flash” (Sheila) Huff of Fredericktown; grandchildren, Chase Huff, Ken (Heather) McGowan and Jonathan McGowan; and great grandchildren, Jordan McGowan and Korbin McGowan.

In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Huff; and a brother, Merrill McLarnan.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of a funeral service celebrating the life of Lois at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 East College St., Fredericktown. Rev. Timothy Mohon will be officiating. Lois will be laid to rest beside her husband, Ralph in Forest Cemetery following her funeral.
