Linda K. Baldwin, age 70, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at the Ohio state University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.  She was born on April 12, 1949 in Belfry, Kentucky to the late George and Gladys (Dutton) Wassell.

Linda graduated from Belfry High School in 1967.  She was a professional Homemaker and raised her two boys.  Linda loved to see her friends at the Station Break and made lots of memory’s there.  She enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Christi) Baldwin, Brian (Emily) Baldwin; grandchildren, Hannah, Brian, Kaleb, Sawyer and Chloe; a sister, Bonnie (Donnie) Davis; nieces, Pam, Alicia and Danielle; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by husband, Tom Baldwin; a brother, Ronnie Thompson.

A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 6 PM with calling hours from 4:00 PM until the time of service at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home; 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050.  Burial will take place at Beaver Union Cemetery at a later date.

  • So so sorry about your loss I went to Station Bteak this morning had something for Linda for her dog Moe as he was when with me she called him Perare I gave her him when I had to have surgery because I thought I would not be able to care for him they took to each other right away than I found out today Linda passed away last Friday so shocked and surprised last week we spoke and I asked her are you losing weight she said do you think so . As this day goes by I am feeling more saddened about her Passing. She is with God and feeling much better now but I will miss seeing her. God bless your family and Take of you
