Lillian Louise Dauphin, age 91, of Devore Road, Mount Vernon, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on September 25, 1920 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Walter Patterson Sr. and Blanche (Brown) Patterson Vannatta. Louise was a fifty year member of the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ. She had been employed at Pittsburgh Plate Glass and enjoyed writing poetry.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Lyn) Dauphin of Thompsonville, Michigan, a daughter, Barbara (Ed) Llewellyn of Mount Vernon, two grandchildren, Brandon Llewellyn and Heidi (Dwight) Dauphin-Channer, four great grandchildren, two brothers, Walter Patterson Jr. of Mount Vernon, Robert (Charlotte) Patterson of Mount Vernon and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty years, Edgar Dauphin, a grandson, Nicholas Hubbell, two brothers, Raymond Patterson and William Patterson, two sisters, Ellen Hobbs and Barbara Patterson.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High Street, Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050. Rev. Gerald Bell will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
