Larry Michael DeLong

MANSFIELD: Larry M. DeLong, 35, of West Straub Road, Mansfield, died Monday morning May 22, 2006 in his home.
He was born January 22, 1971 in Mansfield, was graduated from Lexington High School in 1989, and remained a lifelong area resident.
While at Lexington High School, Larry played goal keeper on the soccer team, and still holds the school’s record for “most goals saved” for his efforts in the 1988 season.
An excellent tennis player, he also enjoyed playing baseball and fishing.
Blessed with an outgoing personality, Larry loved life, and lived it to the fullest.
He was a member of Lexington First Congregational Church.
He is survived by his parents Currie and Shelia (Howard) DeLong of Lexington; four children Cullen, Tanner, Chandler and Jossie DeLong all of Lexington; a sister Jennifer DeLong of Lexington; his paternal grandmother Lexie St. John of Lexington; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Lola Howard and his paternal grandfather Donald St. John.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family by the Lexington Avenue Snyder Funeral Home.
