Kim Schwab-Jackson, 53, of Galion passed away Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Galion Community Hospital.

She was born February 3, 1966 in Ironton, Ohio and was the daughter of Raymond W. and Myrtle (Castle) Schwab.

Kim had previously worked at the American Wire Technology and as a physical therapist assistant at Galion Community Hospital. She attended Living Truth Community Church in Willard. Her children and grandchildren were her life.

Kim is survived by daughter Juli (fiancee’ Richard Williamson) Ihinger of Galion; son Dustin (Nikki Jo) Lowe of Marion; eight grandchildren Madalynne, Jayden, Zander, Gabriel, Jaxon, Justice, Sevanna and Blake; sister Judy McGregor of Galion and a sister-in-law Julie.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Schawb, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, May 5, 2019 at the Living Truth Community Church, 631 South Main Street Willard, Ohio 44890. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor David Montgomery officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

  • It just doesn’t seem real. We all grew up together. Our parents all sang together in church. Kim and Rick used to come play cards with mom and dad when they were married. A lot of memories. Dustin, Julie, and Judy you are all in my thoughts and prayers! Kim wasn’t a friend, she was family.
