Kenneth W. Angel, age 54, of Centerburg died early Friday morning, September 22, 2017 at his home.

Kenneth was born on September 6, 1963 in Julian, West Virginia the son of the late Darrell and Judy (Hager) Angel. It was there in West Virginia where he graduated from Guyan Valley High School.

On September 8, 1990, he married Sandra Boggs.  Just a couple weeks ago they celebrated 27 years together as husband and wife.

For 18 years he worked at Kreiger Ford as an auto body technician.  More recently, he owned and operated Angel’s Autobody.

Kenneth enjoyed times spent outdoors; snowmobiling, working in his yard, and flower garden.

He used to race motorcycles, was a NASCAR fan, and loved working on cars.

Kenneth also wrote poetry and liked playing Euchre.

In addition to his wife he will be missed by their son Tyler of Sunbury; daughter Taylor of Centerburg; brother Tommy Angel of West Virginia; sister Lisa Miller of West Virginia; ½ brothers Pete and David Cook of West Virginia; special parents Mike and Madalyn Stauffer of Sunbury; their children and spouses Jimmy Stauffer of Sunbury, Mike and Lori Cook of North Carolina, Beth and Larry Keller of Florida, and Matt Stauffer of Colorado; father and mother-in-law Ralph and JoAnn Boggs of Galena; sister-in-law Joyce (Jeff) Stimmel of Sunbury; and Sue Boggs of Sunbury; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and his canine companion, Tank.

The family will be celebrating Kenneth’s life on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 2-4 PM at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074 and from 5-7 PM at the Trenton Township Hall, 15495 Hartford Rd, Sunbury, OH 43074 where a meal will be provided.

  • Years ago Kenneth took photos of ducks frozen on the lake and left them lay at my home because he didn’t like them. I liked the photos very much so I framed them and they are still hanging in my home, bringing me fond memories and joy.

    I miss you, Sandy and pray for your healing and comfort in this sad time. Dale will miss the good times that couldn’t last. We love you all very much.
