  • Matt, Maggie and Zoey: my heart aches for you. Kathy was such a beautiful person, inside and out. Even after her stroke she never stopped smiling and had such determination. She always had concern for everyone around her. And Matt, the love between the two of you was never to be doubted. You really are the true example of ” in sickness and in health” . The way you have devoted your life to take care of her amazed me. And you could just look at either of you and see the love. I am truly blessed that Kathy and I crossed paths and became friends. I will miss her , but always remember her fondly. I hope you find some comfort in knowing she has gone on to her heavenly home and will be watching over you until you join her again. Love and prayers.

  • Dear Matt & Maggie,
I was so sorry to hear about Kathy. When I taught preschool next to her and Patty D. she would have us in stitches after school. She was funny and had such an easygoing attitude about life. Kathy could lift your spirit at the end of a tiring day. Such a great lady, we could sure use her wit and strength during these troubled times.

  • Matt and Maggie I’m so sorry…. words can not express the loss of this amazing woman I’m so sadden..I’m sending my thoughts and prayers to you both during this difficult time…((HUGS))

  • Matt – I was so sorry to learn of Kathy’s passing. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Dick and I reminisced about those days with Sister Jean and the Easter Vigil Mass. Take comfort and treasure the memories the two of you made together.

  • I never met Kathy, but had the pleasure of working with her husband, Matt. Matt is a stand-up human being and I’m sure Kathy had strong influence on him. I recall a few conversations with Matt where Kathy would be riding along for some of his sales calls after her stroke. I would pause after I hung up the phone and reflect on the very thought of a husband continuing to care for his wife while still doing his day job. Thoughts and prayers to the family. Life is in fact too short.
