Kathleen Grace Vaughn

Kathleen Grace “Kathy” Vaughn, 72, of 250 Buckeye Road, Galion, went home to be with her Lord Friday, July 1, 2005 at home.
Born October 29, 1932 in Crestline, she was the daughter of the late William J. Snyder and Barbara A. Rauch Snyder. She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 52 years, Conrad Vaughn.
She was a member of Community Christian Church of Galion. Kathy was a 1950 graduate of Crestline High School where she was in the National Honor Society and a member of the choir, School newspaper staff and yearbook staff. She was a member of Alpha Pi Sigma Sorority in Crestline. She assisted her husband in the operation of Vaughn’s Pharmacy in Galion. Kathy and Conrad were the founders of the Pipeline Ministry which collected and distributed clothing to the homeless in Columbus, the Christian Childrens Home in Wooster, the Ukraine, Life Line in Haiti and flood and fire Victims.
She is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lorri and Scott Holser of Hilliard, Linda and Scott Snyder of Lexington and Lisa Vaughn of Galion; a son, Michael Vaughn of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Kelli and Van Holser and Nicole, Kristi and Jessica Snyder; two great grandchildren, Allura and Ava; a brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Twila Snyder of Monroeville, Indiana and a sister and brother-in-law, Cyde and Billie Jean Emerick of Massillon.
At Kathy’s request her body will be donated to medical science. Friends are cordially welcomed to a memorial service at the Community Christian Church, at the corner of State Route 19 and Biddle Road in Galion on Thursday July 7, 2005 at 7 p.m. officiated by Pastor Dr. Daniel Turner.
