A waitress at the former Crack Pot Drive-In in Delaware, she was introduced to C. Edward Steck, by his father. • My sincere condolences to the family of Karen. We were very close friends when her family lived in Grand Falls Newfoundland. When we were 11, her family moved to London, Ontario Canada. They took me with them to spend the summer and also a trip to Ohio. Karen came home to visit and stayed at my home when we were about 15. Although we had not seen each other since then, we did manage a few phone calls before losing touch once again. I have so many fond memories of my second family. Rest in peace my dear friend.

  • I send my sincere sympathy to Heidi, Mary Beth and Scottie and their families in the loss of Karen. She was like an aunt to my children Mackenzie and Ashley, through the shared love of Karen’s mom, Betty. I will always recall Karen’s laugh when I think of her, and will keep the memory of how close she was with her kids and grandkids as a fine example of a mother’s love that I can only hope to follow.

  • My deepest condolences to my cousins Heidi, Mary Beth, and Scotty! Aunt Karen will be deeply missed! Sending you all my love!

  • My condolences to the family of Karen. I knew her and her husband, Ed, I was introduced to her through her late Sister-in-law, Linda (Steck) Mills. Karen was a very special person and I always enjoyed talking to her when I would see her. Her family will be in my prayers.
