Julie Lynn Parker, age 61, of Galion, passed away Saturday morning, March 28, 2015, at the Galion Community Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born on October 6, 1953, in Columbus, OH, to the late Walter and Clara E. (Moncrief) Stone.

Julie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved to read and play bingo wherever she could find a bingo hall. Julie also recently loved to play fairyland online where she became friends with many of the others in the community.

She will be dearly missed by her daughters: Rebecca (Dylan Lackey) Parsons of Galion, Patricia (Karen Anna) Kline of Zephyrhills, FL; grandchildren: Orchid and Azrael Parsons; sisters: Anita Rothe, Leah Mulkey, and Zenetta Whiting; a niece, Michelle Webb; and a nephew, Tom Webb.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband, John C. Parker; her parents; and a grandchild, Ares Parsons.

Her family will greet friends on Thursday, April 2, 2015, from 11 to 12 PM, at the Snyder Funeral Home, Craven Chapel, 67 N. Main St., Mount Gilead. Services celebrating her life will begin at 12 PM. Burial will follow at Rivercliff Cemetery.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
