Joyce Elaine Milum

Joyce E. Milum, age 77 of Delaware passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at the Kindred Community Healthcare Center in Marion.

She was born on October 16, 1937 in Delaware and raised by Howard and Ethel Camp. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, for 30 years Joyce drove a school bus for the Buckeye Valley School District.

A dedicated church member throughout her life she was a member of Radnor Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and played piano, Valleyview Church and most recently Eastside Mission Church. Her life centered on the activities of the church and her family.  Joyce was a wonderful cook. It was expressed that everything she created from her cupboard was wonderful. Her cranberry salad, mincemeat and apple pies will long be remembered. She also enjoyed a passion for flower gardening and sewing.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years Cecil, children Valerie (Michael) Seemueller of Westerville, Barbara (Kelvin) Henry of Radnor, Sandra (Roger) Miller of Radnor, Michael (Sandy) Milum of Delaware, son-in-law Terry Trefz of Cardington, 4 grandchildren Beth, Matt, Mike, Ryan, 3 great-grandchildren Evangeline, Christian, Nora, sister Carol (Ray) Tanner of Merryville,TN, as well as other extended brothers and sisters, and her many cherished co-bus drivers.

Proceded in death by her daughter Judy Trefz, most recently sister and brother-in-law Lillian and Leonard Chafin and several other extended brothers and sisters.

Friends may call 1-2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 1510 W. William St. at Valleyside Dr., Delaware where services will follow at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Donnie Akers officiating. Burial will follow in Radnor Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Eastside Mission Church, 32 Joy Ave., Delaware, Ohio 43015 who do so much for our community or Marion General Hospital Hospice, 278 Barks Rd W, Marion, OH 43302.
