John Whipple, age 70, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at the Laurels of Mount Vernon.  He was born on September 16, 1950 in Morrow County the son of Holly Whipple and Beverly (Harris) Berger.

John is survived by his children, Tom Whipple, and Peggy Mason, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Daniel Whipple, James Whipple and Dale Whipple, a sister, Franchen Schranns and two nephews.

The family will observe a service at a later date.  The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of John Whipple.
