John Mitchell Curtis, 67, of Delaware passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Arbors of Delaware.

He was born in Delaware on March 7, 1947, the son of the late Walter and Nettie (Long) Curtis.

John was employed by the Halter Company as a roofer. He had a love for his 1950 Ford, his Harley Davidson, and was a people person.

He is survived by his two sons, John (Jeanine) Curtis of Delaware, and Fred (Autumn) Curtis of Delaware; five grandchildren, Easha, Richie, Carmen, Mya, and Justice; one great grandchild, Aayden Mitchell; six brothers, George (Betty) Curtis, Edwin (Betty) Curtis, Richard (Carolyn) Curtis, Tyrone Curtis, and Max Curtis; and former wife, Jennifer Curtis.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by one grandson, Freddy Curtis, and one brother, Fred Curtis.

A celebration of life will be held at the Delaware Fraternal Order of Eagles, 127 East William Street, Delaware, OH 43015, on Sunday, January 18, 2015 from 12:00 pm- 3:00 pm.
