He always tried to build people up. I am deeply saddened by his loss. Yet, heaven gained a few extra laughs. Fly high John!!!!! God Bless!!! You made high school and my young childhood brighter. Love you, man!!

  • John and l have only known John for two years. He was a good friend and neighbor to my brother and sister-in-law Mike and Linda and their daughters Alicia and Kelly. Our condolences and prayers go out to his family. He was always kind and considerate, happy playing basketball and board games with our son Michael and 4 yr old grandson Otis. We played many hours of corn hole & yuker and listening to classic country music outside by the fire till sunrise. He loved his puppies and kept us laughing. We looked forward to seeing him at our many family gatherings. He was always helping Mike and Linda. He had a kind heart and a gentle soul and he will be sadly missed by our family.

  • I haven’t seen or talked to John since high school, but no one could ever forget that smile! My deepest condolences to your family.

They thought of him as the father they never had and as a matter of fact Cody was going to go spend this upcoming weekend with him so he is taking this very hard! John was very kind, gentle and loving! He didn’t have a mean bone in his body. We loved spending evenings by the fire, listening to music n talking the night away! He enjoyed being part of the family n always loved being around the children. This is a man that never complained! He had a heart of gold n my daughter n John had an attachment thru their love for animals!!!! He will be sadly missed and I don’t think any of us was prepared for this! Our hearts go out to the family cuz John was a wonderful person that was very much loved!

  • I am so sorry that you lost your son, John, Glenda and Kenny. It is most difficult to lose our children before we pass on ourselves. He was younger than my two sons, and I can’t imagine the distress should I lose one of them. I pray that God will wrap his arms around you and give you strength to get through these hard days. I found out too late to visit at the funeral home…so sorry about that. Hugs, kisses and love.
