John Harvey Wiseman, age 55, of Marion passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Marion General Hospital.

John was born in Marion, Ohio on September 6, 1963 to the late Kenneth Wiseman and Faye Daniels.  He worked for many years at Asher Roofers and had various other jobs.  John married Carey A. Williams on February 14, 1990 who survives.

John was an easy going guy who enjoyed hanging out with friends, drinking beer, and listening to country music.

John is survived by wife, Carey; children, Joshua Wiseman of Ironton, Ohio, Jesse (Angela) Wiseman of Van Wert, Ohio and Bo (Chelsea) Wiseman; grandchildren, Bo “Wes” Wiseman and Brooklynn Wiseman; siblings, Jack (Sonja) Wiseman of Pedro, Ohio, James (Theresa) Wiseman of South Webster, Ohio, Twyla Wiseman of Galion, Ohio and Diantha Dawson of Sciotoville, Ohio; along with countless extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL Chapel on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 1 pm until 3 pm.

Know matterhow drunk you was you made sure the kids was ok i remember you playing doll babys with nay when she was like 4yrs old you could tell jokes that would make me lagh even when you always called bruce lyle lovette that name will always stick with him gonna miss you man

  • John was our neighbor for several years. One of the nicest people we had met since living in Ohio. He always told us how proud he was of us and “yuns are great kids, I love ya”. Had many long talks and laughs over a couple beers . You will be missed John.
