  • I’ll always remember John’s smile as he entered my gun shop. Fist as a customer and shortly afterwards as an employee for maybe a year. We shared many good stories and jokes . Big John was asset to our business and fun to work with . I will miss not seeing him. Rest In Peace

  • John’s mother and my mother were cousins. Our families gathered- we from a family farm in southeastern Ohio , and John’s family from the city. We share precious memories of being together. In July we gathered with John and Mary. We ate, we caught up, we sang songs unto the Lord- to remind John he was not alone in this time. John’s departure from this life reminds us all to prepare the way for the Lord in this Advent season. Eternal rest grant unto him oh Lord and May your perpetual Light shine upon him, may he Rest In Peace now. Pray for us St. John when you enter the Kingdom!

  • Godspeed John! We miss your happy face and cherish the memories, especially shooting and eating. Condolences to Mary, Sara and family.

  • It was a wonderful gathering in July and I was so happy I had the opportunity to be there with John & Mary, Tom, Amanda, Bob and Steve…I can attest to John’s sense of humor portrayed by that impish grin…When asked if there were any restrictions on his diet… John replied that he could eat anything…But he also requested no ORGAN meats!😂…will miss you John

  • John, Bob and Linda as well as the rest of the family brought a lot of fun and joy to our family growing up. I always enjoyed John and Bob’ Laughter and over all joyfulness.
May the Good Lord Bless John and welcome him into his heavenly glory.
You will be missed John, Great memories forever

Love and prayers to all of John’s love ones on this day of salvation for John

  • Always enjoyed the time we spent with the Becks. At the farm or in Columbus. We new there were going to be good stories, some even true, and lots of laughter. We got together in July to celebrate John and what a great day. I especially loved hearing John tell us about his labor of love. What an artist and a self taught engineer and wood worker. Rest in peace John. And my God Bless the Beck Family.

  • Heartfelt condolences to Mary and all the Beck family. Although I didn’t know John as well as my brother’s did, three things that stood out to me me were his big heart, his gentle soul, & sincere smile…three qualities we should all strive for.
On this day that you will lay John to rest, know that we will continue to pray for him & your whole family…
“Be Merciful Lord and let Your perpetual light shine upon John, and may Your Divine assistance remain with us all forever.”
