JOHN ANDREW WELLER, AGE 57, OF ROBERTS RD. FREDERICKTOWN, DIED AT THE EMERGENCY ROOM OF THE KNOX COMMUNITY HOSPITAL JANUARY 14, 2002 FOLLOWING AN APPARENT HEART ATTACK AT HIS HOME. HE WAS BORN SEPTEMBER 26, 1944, IN MOUNT VERNON THE SON OF EVERETT MYLES AND NAOMI (ROBERTS) WELLER. HE WAS A MEMBER OF THE 1962 GRADUATING CLASS OF THE FREDERICKTOWN HIGH SCHOOL AND HAD BEEN ACTIVE IN THE ATHLETIC BOOSTERS THERE. MR. WELLER WAS INSTRUMENTAL IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FREDERICKTOWN FIELDHOUSE AND SERVED AS ONE OF THE TEAM LEADERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE FREDERICKTOWN PUBLIC LIBRARY. HE WAS AN EMPLOYEE OF THE KOKOSING CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND PRIOR TO THAT HAD BEEN A SELF EMPLOYED GENERAL CONTRACTOR.

HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE SARA “SALLY” (ADREAN) WELLER, A DAUGHTER ANDREA LEA WELLER OF COLUMBUS, HIS MOTHER OF FREDERICKTOWN, 3 SISTERS JANICE (BILL) MAST OF FREDERICKTOWN, JEANNINE (ROGER) DAVIS OF MORRISTOWN, NEW JERSEY AND JULIA (RAY) FELGAR OF NORTH MANCHESTER, INDIANA, 2 BROTHERS WENDELL WELLER OF BRADENTON, FLORIDA AND CARROLL (CATHIE) WELLER OF FREDERICKTOWN; 3 STEP-DAUGHTERS JAN (JIM) WASILUK AND JACKIE (CHRIS) ZERMENO BOTH OF HOWARD AND JILL (BLAKE) DELGOUFFRE OF MOUNT VERNON, A STEP-SON BART BRANNON OF FREDERICKTOWN; AND 6 STEP-GRANDCHILDREN KALI AND JOSHUA ZERMENO, DUSTIN DELGOUFFRE, J.D. BRANNON, MACKENZIE AND BRONSON MAST AND AHSLEY AND DEVAN KENNEDY. HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HIS FATHER.

FRIENDS MAY CALL FROM 5 PM UNTIL 8 PM ON THURSDAY AT THE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME IN FREDERICKTOWN. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD FRIDAY AT 11 AM AT THE PALMYRA CHURCH OF CHRIST. MR. TROY NORTHROP AND MR. KERRY DAVIS WILL OFFICIATE AND BURIAL WILL FOLLOW IN THE FOREST CEMETERY IN FREDERICKTOWN.
