Jerry LeRoy Javens, 60, of Galion passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at Galion Hospital.

He was born July 10, 1957 in Galion and was the son of the late Jerry M. and Margaret F. (Haga) Javens. LeRoy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rebecca (Price) Javens.

He worked for Exel in Shelby and enjoyed model cars, shooting guns and riding motorcycles.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Merrill Javens of Vanceburg, Kentucky and Micheal (Mandy) Javens of Galion; 7 grandchildren Kennedy, Elissa, Quinton, Serina, Micheal Jr., Colton and Hudson; adopted grandson Connor Dean Shaw; sisters Diane Javens and Brenda (Jeff) Palmer all of Liverpool, Ohio and brother Allen (Lola) Javens of Hammondsville, Ohio.

Following his wishes, there will be no services.
