Mansfield: Janice Irene Carsey, 62, of North Stewart Road, Mansfield, died Monday evening March 25, 2002 in MedCentral Mansfield hospital following long illness.
She was born in Mansfield on February 18, 1940 and was a lifelong area resident.
A homemaker, Janice, with her husband, enjoyed fishing, bargain hunting, antiquing, playing bingo, eating out, and traveling.
She attended Wyandotte Freewill Baptist Church.
Janice is survived by her husband James L. Carsey, whom she married July 20, 1962; two sons and a daughter-in-law James and Gretchen Carsey of Columbus and Donald Zinn of Mansfield; a daughter Debra King of Mansfield; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters-in-law Dwaine and Norma Shrader of Bellville, Dale Shrader; and Richard and Carol Shrader all of Mansfield; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marjorie Adams and Delores Klupp both of Mansfield, Brenda and Jerry Cooper; and Sandra and Herb Dinguess all of Columbus; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Shrader, her mother Alice (Parcell) Shrader Zinn, and her step father Eugene Zinn.
Friends may call Thursday March 28, 2002 from 4 to 7 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Friday at 11 am. Pastor Brian Phillips will officiate. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery near Butler.
